AHC Behavioral Health & Wellness seeks to hire a Call Specialist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As the Call Specialist, you will:
•Provide telephonic support by scheduling appointments and providing resources to callers.
•Work with patients, families, providers, clinical and non-clinical staff to coordinate the patient's experience throughout the process of accessing mental healthcare at Shady Grove Medical Center.
•Receive all incoming phone calls and online inquiries from persons and providers requesting acute and outpatient clinical services.
•Schedule clinical evaluations and document when appointments are kept or missed.
•Accurately maintain call tracking database.

Qualifications Include:
•Preferred Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, human services, or any closely related field. High school or GED is acceptable.
•At least one year of customer service and telephonic experience
•Stellar customer service skills - and an overwhelming desire to make lives better, one interaction at a time
•Strong ability to communicate information in an effective and empathetic manner
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
