Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- High School diploma or GED with evidence of progress or current enrollment in college, in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program of study.
- 0-1 years of related experience in an administrative, clerical or medical office capacity.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both over the telephone and in person with patients and family members regarding protected health information.
- Ability to deal sensitively and effectively with patients and providers.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well both independently, with minimal supervision, and in a team setting.

Preferred education experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a biological/genetics/health science.
- Specialized courses in the genetics and/or cancer. Training in EPIC and or Progeny database systems.
- Experience with patient and or family interactions in a community or medical setting. Previous experience with clinical projects, either in an administrative or clinical role, strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical practice terminology and genetic terminology and concepts.

Additional Information:
- There are 4 positions available
- Shift: Day, 8 hours
- Job Status: Full-Time, 40 hours
