We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the project and program management activities globally in order support business growth in developed and emerging markets. This position will be based in North America and will provide direct support to the regional and global leadership to ensure the delivery of key business initiatives. In addition to project management support, this position will provide strategic planning and solution design expertise in a consultative capacity for the region.

You will partner with leaders on project scoping, definition of business intent, and execution of the business strategy. You will be leading multiple moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing direction to project stakeholders. You will plan, design, manage, and execute project plans and budgets that deliver on declared business intent and strategy; revising to meet changing requirements and leveraging problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent. You will maintain key project documentation, identify and escalate risks, and effectively communicate to drive projects from design to implementation. You will be clarifying and defining project requirements and business case.

As a Project Manager you will forge relationships and work closely with partners at all levels across Western Union, including: Business, Legal, Compliance, IT, Operations, Finance, Treasury and Product to drive results. You will exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts, have ability to quickly put structure to complex dynamic engagements with minimal direction, and have experience with planning and managing projects within an enterprise level tools (e.g. Clarizen).

For this role you will need 3+ years of progressive project management experience including management of major projects in a large operating environment. You should have some active certifications (SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Project Manager). You should also have experience leading rigorous change management processes is essential, extensive experience working with senior leadership, and proven experience in process creation, implementation and quality management.

However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. Annual base salary gross: $81,201-143,043. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
